Gainesville ISD will be hosting a 2025-2026 registration round up for all new GISD students entering Head Start, Pre-K, or Kindergarten in the Fall. There are three opportunities to complete early registration. Edison Elementary, located at 1 Edison Drive, will be open for registration on Monday, April 7 (8am-5pm), Wednesday, April 30 (8am-5pm), and Monday, May 5 (8am-7pm). Parents of students who will be 3, 4 or 5 years of age before September 1, 2025 are encouraged to attend.

Jaxi Gane, 1st grade, won the Edison Christmas card design contest! Her art is featured on the 2024 Gainesville ISD Christmas card.
